You will have thrilling views of Annapurna I and many other mountains, The Annapurna I is the first peak above 8000 meter to have been climbed in history of mountain expedition in Nepal. A feat accomplished by a French team in 1950. The Base Camp Trek offers non-stop natural diversity with lovely mountain views and Himalayan landscape. Furthermore, terraced fields of rhododendron and bamboo with a wide range of flora and fauna are the main attraction of the trek.

The real trek starts with a day drive to Pokhara. You will then take an hour and half drive to the Nayapul to start the real trek in the next morning. You continue trek to the Base Camp of Annapurna. You will have overnight stay at Tikhedunga, Ghorepani, Tadapani, Chhomrong and Himalaya to reach the base camp of the Annapurna. You will also visit the Poon Hill with a breathtaking panorama of the peaks and Sunrise.

Annapurna Base Camp Trekking - 14 Days

Day 01: Arrive at Kathmandu airport transfer to hotel (No meals):

Day 02: Full day sightseeing of Kathmandu valley & an orientation (B):

Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara (200 Kilometers west of Kathmandu) (B):

Day 04: Drive from Pokhara to Nayapul and Trek to Tikhedunga (B, L, D):

Day 05: Trek to Ghorepani (B, L, D):

Day 06: Hike to Poonhill and trek to Tadapani (B, L, D):

Day 07: Trek from Tadapani to Chhomrong (B, L, D):

Day 08: Trek from Chhomrong to Himalaya (B, L, D):

Day 09: Trek from Himalaya to Annapurna Base Camp (B, L, D):

Day 10: Trekking from Annapurna Base Camp to Dovan (B, L, D):

Day 11: Trekking from Dovan to Jhinudanda (B, L, D):

Day 12: Trek from Jhinudanda to Nayapul and drive to Pokhara (B, L):

Day 13: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu (B):

Day 14: Transfer to airport for your departure (B):

The above cost includes:

  1. All the local Airport pick ups and transfers (Kathmandu to Lukla and back)

  2. Three nights accommodation in Kathmandu in 2/3 star hotel including breakfast as per the above itinerary on twin sharing basis.

  3. Sightseeing city tour in Kathmandu.

  4. Your standard meals during the trek (breakfast including a hot tea/coffee, lunch and dinner). Note, drinks at lunch and dinner is for own account.

  5. All necessary paper works for the National park entry permits, TIMS permit and monument entrance fees. 

  6. Ground transportation from Kathmandu — Pokhara — Kathmandu by tourist bus.

  7. Two night’s hotel in Pokhara including breakfast.

  8. All accommodations in lodges/tea houses during the treks on twin sharing basis. Single rooms for single travellers are not guaranteed and based on the overall trekkers on the EBC route.

  9. An experienced, helpful and friendly mountain guide, sherpa and porters. 

  10. Salary, Food, Drinks, Accommodation, Transportation and Insurance for the Guide, sherpas and Porters. 

  11. We can arrange to borrow a down sleeping bag, down jackets and duffle bag if required. Please ensure to check this on arrival at the hotel.

  12. All government taxes, VAT and service charge. 

The Above Cost Excludes:

  1. Nepal entry visa fee (you may easily issue the visa upon your arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport - Kathmandu). You will require 2 passport size photos and between $40 - $60 based on your country.

  2. Your Travel insurance (compulsory)- please check that your insurance covers high altitude and helicopter rescues. We can provide a list of insurance companies on request.

  3. Food (lunch and dinner) while you are in Kathmandu.

  4. Your personal expenses. 

  5. All the alcoholic and non alcoholic Drinks. 

  6. Water, sweets and snacks during the trek (Tip: water starts at around 80 Nepali Rupee and around 400 Rupees at Gorakshep!)

  7. Hot shower during the trek (Tip: This becomes more expensive as you go higher in the mountains.)

  8. International airfare and airport departure tax. 

  9. Tips for the guide and staffs.

Other guidelines, tips and expectations for the trek:

  1. If you travelling on your own, it is not guaranteed to have single / private rooms during the trek. Based on the group size, sharing of twin rooms are usually the norm.
